SB 1079 currently allows anyone to acquire a foreclosure property AFTER THE HOUSE HAS SOLD AT AUCTION. Read about it here: SB 1079 Process or see the presentation here: Link. To acquire a property, you have to be willing to move into the unit within 60 days as your primary residence, and stay for at least a year. It also requires you to pay cash up front, but you can always refinance (“cash out”) later.
